Update/Suspended story

Hi all - I've been getting a lot of messages asking why I took down Where the Wildflowers Grow, so I figured I'd make a quick announcement here. I was getting a LOT of spam and emails flooding my inbox on the story site, so I tried moving the story to a new blog, which ended up not working as well as I wanted it to.

On another note, I am currently out of the county for six weeks on a long-awaited trip down under! So the story would have been on hold, anyway. I decided to take the blog down temporarily while I try to fix the spam/hosting - it will be back eventually, but it is definitely on a hiatus right now. My apologies.

Had I known when I started this story that I would take so long to finish it, I wouldn't have posted it online. :( Thank you all for your patience.

New chapter

As promised, the new chapter of Wildflowers is up!

Thanks for your patience, everyone. I had this chapter only half-finished when we lost my uncle, and I haven't had the headspace to continue it. But I'm back and running now, for the most part.

UPDATE #2: I ended up rewriting the second half, despite my best efforts to call up cursor history, web history, and copied data entries. I still have no idea what happened, and I am not happy. But the entire chapter should be there now, so enjoy!

UPDATE: I published the new chapter, only to find that the entire second half of it, that I just finished editing and proofreading, is gone. It isn't even showing up in the post editor, and I have NO IDEA why. So if you are trying to read the chapter and the link is broken, give me a little while so I can try to figure out what happened and get it back. (And scream at Blogger, in the process.)

Wildflowers delay

Hey everyone - I had planned the next chapter of Wildflowers to be published this week, to correlate with the new publishing schedule I have. It is almost done; I just need to add the finishing edits and touches. Unfortunately, there was a sudden death in my family this week. I need to be with them at this time, and focus my energy and time on helping out. As such, I will need to put Wildflowers on hold temporarily while I do so. It shouldn't be too long of a wait; I expect to have it up by next week. Just please bear with me until then. Thanks everyone. x Bee

New chapter of Wildflowers!

Long time, no see! I know. Again. Life is just crazy these days - actually for the last two years it's been nuts, and I've only found time to write once in a blue moon.

But I think I finally found a method to my madness, and a disciplined approach to keeping up with the chapters. I sat down and made myself write last night, pushing away all distractions. And it felt good.

So here's the latest installment of Wildflowers, with Jon and Anna. Enjoy. :)

Hello all!

I am so sorry for the hiatus between Wildflowers chapters...I keep getting comments/emails from people asking when the next chapter will be up, and I smack myself on the head each time for making you all wait. I TRULY appreciate that people are still reading and still care even though this story has progressed ridiculously slowly. :/

For those who don't know, I've been traveling a lot since August, AND setting up a new house since I just moved -- so there is always something to buy, something to clean, something to build, something to cook, and never time for something to write.

But. Things have slowed down a bit and I have several hours of free time during the day, so I WILL be getting back to this story. And I am going to try my best to keep it coming more regularly now, so you don't have to wait annoyingly long weeks in between chapters.

The next chapter SHOULD be up within the next day or so - so check the Wildflowers page in a few days!

Wildflowers update + vacation

Hey all! I have posted a new chapter of Where the Wildflowers Grow, which brings it up to Chapter Six. Enjoy!

Broken links

Hey all - been getting a lot of messages about broken links. Big apologies for that!

I had to change the blog URLs and I thought I got all the hyperlinks updates as well, but I missed some.

And I think some of you tried clicking while I was still changing them. LOL.

Anyway, thank you all for letting me know. I will go around a second time to make sure everything is up to date, but if anyone notices another broken link, kindly remind me.
